RE: New Grant Submission Deadlines

We have changed the submission deadlines for grant applications.
- The new deadlines commencing immediately are January 1st and August 1st of each year.
- Any applications received after these dates will be held until the next cycle.
If you are submitting a grant application for the next cycle remember that it must be in our office before January 1st. Your application will not be accepted during our next meeting if:
- It arrives after January 1st (Mail in apps only.
- No drop-offs no exceptions!)
- Previously granted funds have not been fully expended
- You have an outstanding post grant report
- Your request does not fit our guidelines

Important Message
RE: Financial Statements

Along with your grant application it is very important that you include all requested supporting materials especially:
Two most current years audited financial statements
Two most current years management letters and management response letters
Most current quarter in-house financial statements (including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, and budget projections)
Two most current years tax returns (include all pages of your 990)
Failure to include these items will be grounds to reject your application. We do understand that some organizations may not have some of these items and we will accept a written explanation of why they are not included in your application otherwise we will require them.

Its a pleasure to announce the appointment of Henry S. Hemingway as
the new President of the Richard K. and Shirley S. Hemingway Foundation.
He will assume the position July 1st of this year from Jane Hemingway Mason.
